My style centers on the people and relationships at the heart of your wedding celebration, with an emphasis on moments and emotions. Clean, classic and candid are words that have long guided my work. Individual images may be atmospheric, intimate, subtle, layered, graphic, joyful, serene or contain a hint of humor.

My favorite weddings have very little to do with location and everything to do with the people. Couples who adore each other and their families, who put their imprint on the planning, and who fully-embody their emotions as the day unfolds are my favorite. I welcome and celebrate couples of all races, sexual orientations, gender identities and religions. I believe in equality and cherish diversity.

Sometimes. I usually photograph weddings on my own and am very comfortable covering all the main events of the day by myself. I believe a single photographer will be less intrusive on your experience and that of your guests. That said, for events with larger guest lists or that have multiple locations with simultaneous events, or for a greater diversity of coverage, you may want to consider adding a second photographer.

I use Canon cameras and a variety of lenses, mostly primes. During the reception I'll use on-camera and/or off-camera flash. For those interested, I’m happy to incorporate a little film photography. Please ask!

Your full wedding gallery is ready to view in an online gallery 6-8 weeks after the event date. Your high-resolution archive files can be downloaded directly from the gallery and include a personal use release.

All images are individually adjusted for color and contrast. Approximately 25% of the images are delivered in black and white. Editing does not include removing stray hairs, smoothing skin, etc.

Yes! In addition to weddings in New England and New York, I've photographed weddings in California, Michigan, New Orleans, Washington DC and Iceland.

You can secure your date with a signed contract and paid retainer.

I open my books for full weddings 12-15 months in advance. For couples seeking coverage of less than 6 hours, I open my calendar 5 months in advance.
