Did you know that 42% of people no longer create photo albums? It used to be you’d take your roll of film to the counter at the drug store or the local photo lab, and in a day or a week, you’d come back and have a fresh stack of 24 or 48 prints. You’d slide your favorites into an album, and maybe send the duplicates to friends or family.
But now, 57% of us store photos on our phone or computer. Which can be great, until you lose your phone or your hard-drive dies. My parents lost five years of photos that way.
So this winter, I encourage you to spend some time making prints. It’s on my January to-do list too. And if you need some help creating something extra-special for your wedding album, I’m happy to help!
Here’s a peek at the albums I created for Laura and Tom, from their Liberty Hotel wedding this past June. Their 9×12 giclée album has a lustrous Asahi silk cover in indigo, with their names embossed in rose gold. The two parent albums are sized 6×8, and were gifted at Christmas.
