Ellen and I share a love of Jane Austen. So when she and John shared how they came to be engaged – she and friends were touring Jane Austen sites in England, and John proposed in Bath because according to Austen that’s where one went to find a husband – I was pretty smitten with the two of them. While these two work and live north of Boston, they enjoy day trips into the city – especially walking around Beacon Hill and along the Charles. So we did just that on a recent evening.
