What struck me most when I first met Iva and Andrew was the pure joy and excitement they radiate in each others’ company. They told me about when they first started dating six years ago, their first kiss (Andrew’s “I was nervous” and Iva’s “I was too!”), and studying together. Through the years, they’ve explored Boston’s neighborhoods and enjoyed Boston restaurant weeks, and hosted game nights for friends. They’ve also been through some pretty big changes – getting jobs and their first apartment together, adopting a pair of kittens, and buying their first home. After a surprise proposal, Iva and Andrew are now planning their spring 2016 wedding at the classic Omni Parker House Hotel in downtown Boston. Returning to where their story started for their Boston University engagement session, we visited some of the buildings where they had class together in the engineering school, the beautiful Marsh Chapel, the banks of the Charles River, and the BU East T stop.
