Anna and Stef‘s wedding was a wonderful taste of Boston in the summer. Boston is where Stef and Anna met, fell in love, and have made their home together, and they wanted to share it with all of their friends and family who were traveling in to celebrate with them.
It was a beautiful blue-sky day in July. Getting ready at the Royal Sonesta in Cambridge, their friends dashed back and forth between their rooms. Their first look just outside the hotel was followed by more portraits near the Charles River, incorporating the Boston skyline and a few Dr. Who props (a little surprise gift from one of the wedding party). Yep – these two are a little silly in the best way possible.
Their interfaith ceremony was led by a friend, and there was a huge cheer when she proclaimed them legally married (this was just a few weeks after the recent Supreme Court ruling). The light-filled Cambridge Multicultural Arts Center was beautifully decorated for the wedding reception with a “mild whales and board games theme” (I mentioned these two were fun, right?). During the reception, their guests enjoyed a wonderful barbecue-inspired meal, complete with catering by East Coast grill, a good beer selection, and Christina’s ice cream and cookies for dessert. Then, everyone let loose on the dance floor – letting their joy shine through.
