On a day that was sunnier than it was warm, I met up with Samantha and Drew for their Charles River Esplanade engagement session. The trees were in peak spring bloom, and there was a profusion of daffodils, whose bright color matches Samantha’s sunny nature. These two met in the swing dancing club at Boston College, and I was happy to have them display some of their moves for me. I loved how easily they laughed with each other, and their whole-hearted yeses to any photo ideas I had. They’re planning their wedding for next fall in Concord – combining Drew’s favorite season with a location close to Samantha’s heart – and I’m so excited to be there documenting it for them.
