I’d been anticipating Ghenya and Jonathan‘s Charles River Museum wedding from the moment I first heard from them last winter. These two wear their hearts on their sleeves, and were just over the moon to be getting married and celebrating with family and friends. They were especially excited to share the day with Ghenya’s two sons who “are young enough to be filled with wonder at the idea that their Mom will be a bride and old enough to understand the significance of Jonathan and my commitment to making “us” a family.”
These two had such a fun day, surely infused with their playful spirit. I loved Ghenya’s pink dress and the custom sneakers donned by Jonathan and his groomsmen. The weather was glorious for their outdoor interfaith ceremony that included a special blessing and gifts for their sons. Guests enjoyed BBQ for dinner and an awesome dance mix from DJ Herm, a friend of the couple who flew in from Arizona for the occasion.
