Clara and Jesse love exploring the Massachusetts coast – picking a location on the map and heading out for an adventure. One time they found their way to the cliffs at Nahant, a small island just a little way north of Boston. The cliffs are extra special to them because it’s where they got engaged. So on Sunday, the three of us headed out to make some engagement portraits.
I always like to find out what my couples want from their engagement photos. When I asked what they want to feel when looking at their engagement photos, they said they want to feel “that we are both two long-accustomed “old shoes” *and* that our life together is full of new possibilities.” Isn’t that such a lovely sentiment?
I love that last, scenic, portrait. And the expressions in the first one are wonderful.
Oh my goooodness, I love that first one!
