A fine mist hung in the air on Lauren and George’s wedding day. Not a soaking rain, but the kind of damp I imagine in the British Isles. Lauren, a New England native, did not let the rain deter them from their plans of an outdoor first look and wedding portraits at Larz Anderson Park. They met under the aptly-named Temple of Love, and there they exchanged their personal vows, which did not fit in the traditional structure of their Orthodox wedding ceremony. The Dane Estate was a grand location for their wedding reception. Lauren’s frothy ballgown was a beautiful fit for the stately ballroom where she and George performed a choreographed first dance. Later, the DJ mixed American and Middle Eastern songs as everyone packed the dance floor.
