Erin and Peter met at an interview. A seemingly mundane start to a love story. Peter had spent the previous summer volunteering in Honduras as part of Notre Dame’s service learning program, and was on the interview committee for the next group of volunteers to go. While Erin remembers being overwhelmed by the four interviewers and struggling to answer a question in Spanish, Peter remembers how she lit up the room.
It took them 5 years, multiple trips to Honduras and a conversation over spaghetti and homemade tomato sauce, but they eventually started dating. And once they started dating, it didn’t take them long to realize that they were meant for each other.
Erin and Peter are good people and very good together, so it was a treat to spend some time with them for their engagement session. On a beautiful September evening, we meandered through the Public Garden, along Charles Street in Beacon Hill, and finally out onto the Esplanade.
