There’s nothing quite like holding a wedding album in your hands. I recently delivered an album to a client, and got to sit with her as she slowly looked through it the first time. I couldn’t stop grinning at her reactions and reminiscences. “What a gorgeous day it was… I love this photo… look how happy James is in this one…I think that was my favorite part of the day…”

The album they chose is a new offering – a slim flushmount album. Layout options in flushmount albums are endless, and I especially like the ability to feature panoramas that stretch seamlessly across two pages. The pages are made of archival photographic paper, mounted back-to-back, creating thin semi-flexible pages.

Their album is 10×10 in a black silk cover and with a 4×4 cameo image on the cover. They also ordered two duplicate 8×8 albums for their parents (to be sent in time for Mother’s day). For comparison’s sake, the image directly below shows an 8×8 and 10×10 slim flushmount album (each with 58 pages) perched atop a 12×12, 30 page matted album. The slim flushmount album is also a little easier on the pocketbook than a traditional matted album.
