Kristina doesn’t remember the first time she met Joe, though Joe places their first encounter at a bar in Harvard Square. They had mutual friends, and over time their own friendship developed. Kristina left for graduate school in New York City, and soon the two were spending weekends together in New York.
These days, they live in Jamaica Plain, where they enjoy weekly brunches and game nights with friends, and walks and runs around the pond. They love their neighborhood, so are planning a fun and relaxed wedding in Jamaica Plain this fall – everything will be a short walking distance from their apartment. We had fun exploring together on a recent evening – I couldn’t get enough of the different colors and textures, nor of seeing their intent looks, twined fingers and a few fleeting squinchy-nosed smiles.
