Samantha and AJ have been together for seven years. They met in college, and have faced good and challenging times together since then, through graduate programs, new jobs and moves. They told me that they are “truly best friends and already part of each other’s families,” and very excited to make it official later this summer. They’re getting married in Newport, and on a recent trip to Jamestown to visit AJ’s family and do some planning, we met up for their engagement session, starting in the backyard and then catching sunset at Fort Wetherill State Park.
