2017 marked my sixth year of photographing weddings. I witnessed celebrations all over New England. From intimate city hall weddings, to historic estates and hotels, to barns and tents and museums, from Martha’s Vineyard to Vermont. It was a year so full of beautiful variety.
Sometimes I’m asked my favorite type of wedding to photograph, and the fact is, it has very little to do with the venue and everything to do with the people. Couples who adore each other and their families, who put their imprint on the planning, and who fully-embody their emotions as the day unfolds are my favorite.
So here’s a look at some of the hugs, kisses, laughs, gasps, tears, moments, details and scenes that have stuck with me from my 2017 wedding season. Thank you for allowing me into your lives, being your true selves in front of my cameras, introducing me to some of your favorite places, and inviting me to document these wonderful days for you and your families.
If you like what you see, and are interested in having me photograph your Boston or New England wedding, please get in touch.
