Every summer, my family gathers together for a week of swimming, walks, boating, game playing, cooking (and drinking). Parents, sisters, spouses, kids, and dogs, all in one big house. It’s one of my favorite weeks of the year, rivaled only by Christmas.
Some years I make hundreds of photos. Other years, I choose to live in the moment a little more, and photograph a little less. Here are a handful of images from last year, when we rented a house in the Adirondacks. This Saturday, we’ll be heading up north of Burlington, to a place on Lake Champlain. So consider this my out of office. I’ll see you on the other side – rejuvenated and ready to take on the rest of wedding season.
