“I think that it is important to know exactly what you want from your photographer and know what kind of personalities you can and can’t work with. You were not our first photographer simply because your response email went to my junk mail (I remember calling my mom in tears when I finally saw it thinking it was too late to book you). The photographer that we first went with was overbearing and very talkative. I was worried that this would cause issues the day of the wedding and leave me irritated. I have a family of talkers who could easily have distracted him. Once I saw his watermark logo on our engagement photos it immediately stressed me out because of how large it was. If you are questioning how well you are going to work with your photographer from the initial meeting, I would say don’t try to fight through that stress the day of your wedding. Also, knowing what is most important for your photographer to capture helps you get the images you want after celebrating your big day.” – Desiree
