Elka and Seth are a pair of ministers – yes – ministers. Not surprisingly, they are genuine, open and kind – and very much in love. Surprising to me, they have a sense of humor that is not at all work appropriate. They met at a church conference and hit it off, and later discovered that their lives had circled each other’s in a series of near-encounters – one time living for a full year within a block of each other here in Boston. I don’t think it could be anything but fate. They returned to Boston for engagement photos in the Public Gardens and on Beacon Hill. After a day of rain, it cleared just in time and we even got a bit of sun. A sign of someone smiling down on us? I think yes.
