Tara & Luke

I loved photographing Tara and Luke’s Misselwood wedding in Beverly, MA a couple of summers ago (yes, I’m trying to catch up on blogging a year and a half of weddings!) They told me they envisioned a beautiful summer celebration with lots of laughter and happiness, and that’s exactly what they had. This couple was so warm and down to earth, and they beamed their love for each other and those around them with huge smiles all day.

We started at the chic Hotel Salem; the spaces there lent so much character for the first look photos and portraits. We then headed over to Misselwood, where their families awaited. The views from the lawn at Misselwood made for a lovely backdrop for the formal portraits and ceremony. The rabbi who led the ketubah signing and ceremony was the same as who led Tara’s bat mitzvah, so that added a sweet personal element.

Tara and Luke’s joy was infectious and they created an amazing party for their guests. It was a fun and laid-back vibe as folks mingled on the patio in the late afternoon sunshine, took in the views, and danced under the tent.
