I am so excited to share James and David’s wedding today! They booked me almost two years ago, and this is the first same sex wedding that I’ve had the opportunity to photograph.
James and David spent the early afternoon getting ready together – just the two of them. They helped each other with cufflinks, ties and corsages, and eagerly anticipated the arrival of friends and family. They built a relaxed wedding day schedule, so we had plenty of time to create portraits on the beautiful grounds of the inn. After those and a few family portraits, they held the ceremony in front of the fireplace and their hundred assembled guests.
There were many laughs, a few happy tears, and a first dance that showed just how at home they were in each others’ arms. Thank you so much for having me document this momentous day for you, and congratulations again!
