Lisa and Bryan were married on the most spectacular summer day at the Lyman Estate. The Lyman Estate in Waltham is one of my favorite places for a wedding. I love the unique character of each room, the sense of history, and of course the verdant oasis of the greenhouse.
These two skipped the traditional bridesmaids and groomsmen, but invited their close friends to join them for getting ready and photos before the ceremony. After Lisa and Bryan’s first look on the grand staircase and couples portraits around the grounds, family and friends joined them for some relaxed group formals.
Two of their dear friends lead the ketubah signing upstairs and the ceremony on the lawn. Another provided the music, playing the vibraphone as Lisa, Bryan and their parents walked down the aisle in the bright afternoon sunshine.
Afterward, folks escaped the heat and enjoyed cocktail hour in the mansion. Guests dined under a tent on the lawn as the newleyweds were toasted by their brothers.
The amazing The Dukes of Circuit Avenue entertained guests throughout the evening. They welcomed Lisa’s brother on the sax for a few songs, and Bryan joined them on stage to sing Wagon Wheel. Lisa adores dancing, and guests packed the floor all night. The couple’s joy radiated all day, but no where so much as on the dance floor surrounded by the ones they love most.
