Liz and PJ got married on a sunny but not-too-hot day in September – just the kind of day you hope for when planning a fall wedding. Their graciousness and ready smiles set the tone for the day, and the Windfall Dutch Barn in central New York provided just the right venue for their casual, elegant, and fun celebration. They crafted a beautiful ceremony that was led by a friend, and included a ring-warming and readings from their parents. Cocktail hour featured lawn games, and a pinata for the little ones. Their guests enjoyed brick oven pizza, local brews from the nearby Ommegang brewery, and homemade pies for dessert. The many details – from the place cards, to the programs, to the table runners, to the flower arrangements – were all done by Liz and PJ. As a small tribute to their history of meeting in geology class, all the tables at dinner were named for different geologic ages.
