Sarah and Pete met while they were pursuing graduate studies at Dartmouth. So to celebrate the beginning of their married lives together, they decided to wed in New Hampshire where their story started. It was one of those grey fall days that threatens rain, but also makes the foliage seem extra bright. The day started at the Enfield Shaker Museum, both Sarah and Pete getting ready with friends and family. From there they headed to the their wedding service at the Thomas Aquinas House on Dartmouth’s campus. Following the service and receiving line, we took family photos on the altar, and then some more relaxed portraits of just Sarah and Pete on Dartmouth’s campus and back at the Enfield Shaker Museum. Some highlights of the reception were Sarah’s grandfather’s blessing that had many (myself included) tearing up, the singing of happy birthday to Pete’s mom, and an appearance by Sarah’s mom on the dance floor (a rare occurrence, I was told).
